The Shocking Truth

In 2008 there were almost 230,000 road casualties reported.

Of this figure, a staggering 26034 people were seriously injured and 2538 were killed, 124 of whom were children.

That is over 4400 casualties and 550 people seriously injured or killed every week.

There is not just the obvious impact on the standard of life of the casualties but also a financial cost too.  Even with just a small car park bump, where no injuries occur, your insurance premiums will increase to cover the cost of the claim.  If there are multiple claims each year the increase in the insurance can be immense.

Statistics show that 1 in 3 road accidents will involve a company vehicle yet they make up only 12% of license holders in the UK.

Can you afford to loose experienced and valuable members of your company, into whom you may have invested a great deal of time and money, to these statistics?  Even if it is just a disrupted afternoon as a courtesy vehicle is organised, a road accident can have devastating impact on your schedule and your clients.

Together, we can do something about it.

As the UK road network is increasingly congested and more challenging to navigate on a daily basis, occupational road risk is very much a growing issue with fleet managers and drivers alike. You should be reassured that with help you can reduce the chances of you or your fleet drivers becoming one of these dreadful statistics.

Not only reducing the chance of a road accident occurring if driving techniques are improved there is a very real reduction in driver stress and in fuel costs if a defensive driving style is adopted.  Rather than be in the middle of a situation which may escalate beyond a safe level it is much more desirable to step back watch from the sideline.

Advanced driving techniques can be implemented which greatly increase the driver's ability to recognise risks and avoid detrimental situations on the road.
