Occupational road risk
As an employee you should be given the opportunity to minimise any occupational road risks. This could manifest from workload expectations being too great to the use of an unsuitable or unroadworthy vehicle for your daily tasks.
Daily targets should be realistic, reflecting current road traffic and weather conditions, whilst still allowing appropriate time at your destination for your journey task.
It is your duty to raise any issues with your line manager or other appropriate person and request an adequate solution which reduces any road risk you are subjected to due to an unrealistic work load.
