What to expect from a lesson
Everyone is different and to cater for this lessons are of variable length. Lessons are available in 1, 1.5 and 2 hour lengths. Some past pupils have requested and received sessions up to 3 hours. At Excel School of Motoring it is entirely up to you how long each lesson is - provided your instructor agrees it is of a suitable length for you to cope with, you choose the length of the lesson.
Irrespective of the length of the lesson, they all share a common structure:
- a short recap of the previous driving lesson
- a full explanation of the subject to be covered either before moving off or at a more suitable location
- if appropriate or requested, a demonstration drive
- practice under suitable instruction and guidance for your skill level
- a discussion of progress made and update of your personal driving record
- arrange your following lesson.
