Pass Plus Course
Congratulations, you've passed your driving test and can now travel by car on your own.
Pass Plus is an invaluable method of expanding your current experience of road and traffic situations making you safer and a more skilled driver.
You will be made aware of many different kinds of hazards and learn to anticipate, plan and safely proceed on your journey.
If you feel nervous driving on your own the Pass Plus course will help boost your confidence on the roads.
Pass Plus consists of six practical modules which cover driving:
- in town
- in all weathers
- on rural roads
- at night
- on dual carriageways
- on motorways
You can take it at any time within the first 12 months of passing your test.
More insurance companies are joining the Pass Plus scheme all the time and offer discounts for drivers who have completed the course. The discounts sometimes easily cover the cost of the Pass Plus training. Always check with your insurance company.
If you don't have a car yet you may be able to defer any insurance discount for up to two years. Again, always check with your insurance company.
