Taxi Driver Test
Do you need to pass the taxi driver test or wheelchair exercise?

We have been helping people in Blackburn, Bolton, Chorley, Leyland, Preston and Wigan pass the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Taxi Test, Enhanced Taxi Test and Wheelchair Exercise for several years.
Every month, more and more local authorities are stipulating, in addition to existing local autority licensing requirements, the DSA taxi test must be passed before they will issue a new taxi driver license.
Private hire drivers must obtain a pass in the taxi driver test whilst hackney carriage drivers must pass the enhanced taxi driver test or first pass the taxi test, then "upgrade" by doing the wheelchair exercise separately.
The taxi test is a higher standard than that of a learner driving test and candidates must show they are able to deliver a smooth passenger focused driver throughout the test. Taxi drivers have a duty of care to the fare paying passengers and their comfort and safety must be considered at all times.
We offer a well established advanced driving course to help you pass the taxi driving test and expert training with the wheelchair exercise and passenger courtesy, safety and well-being.
